Science research at Washington State University is a source of technological innovations that contribute to the economic growth of the state of Washington and of the nation. Our researchers are working to improve health care and nutrition, help bolster national security, solve environmental problems, develop new materials for new industries, and improve K-12 science education.
In addition to being the foundation for excellent graduate programs, at WSU research experience in top labs is offered to undergraduates as well. For many, this experience becomes a high point in their undergraduate educational career.
